The simple idea

A study room built for starting

A “study with me” room adds social presence to independent study. You still choose your own subject and pace, but seeing other people at their desks can make it easier to open the book, begin the assignment, and stay for the full session.

Unlike a video livestream, Lo-Fi Nook does not require a camera or put one person at the center. Everyone has a small avatar and a status. You can write a quick intention in chat, start the focus timer, and take a break when the round ends.

Can I use the room for any subject?

Yes. Everyone works on their own task, so the room fits school, university, courses, languages, or independent learning.

Is this a video study room?

No. It is an illustrated, camera-free room. Voice is optional and off until you choose a voice zone.

Do I need an account to study?

No. Guest access is available immediately, and your name and avatar are remembered in the same browser.
